Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of May 05, 2010

Abstract

Senate Chairperson, Chet Cooper, presided. President David Sweet gave farewell remarks to the Senate. The Senate Executive Committee reported on the Ohio Faculty Council meeting which focused on the Third Frontier Program and the Senate passed a resolution of Appreciation for Dr. David C. Sweet and his wife Patricia. The Charter and Bylaws Committee made recommendation for the Senate Charter. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported that at-large elections are complete. The Academic Programs Committee reported on a list of approved program changes. The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee reported on a list of approved course changes. The Academic Events Committee developed criteria for Faculty Marshals at Commencement Exercises. In New Business Sharon Stringer and Hillary Fuhrman reported on assessment activities this year and plans for next year.
