dc.description.abstract	Senate Chairperson, Chet Cooper, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported that it endorsed the General Education writing repository proposal. Ken Learman reported on the Ohio Faculty Council meeting and a motion was made to support a resolution regarding the University System of Ohio. Sharon Stringer summarized the activities on Assessment. Elections and Balloting reported elections for next year will begin next month. The General Education Committee made a motion to pass a new writing repository proposal. The motion was passed.
