dc.description.abstract	Senate chairperson Chet Cooper presided. Millie Rodriquez, Director of Distance Education, was introduced. Hillary Fuhrman, Director of Assessment reported they will launch a survey with students regarding the level of academic challenge, interaction with faculty and if the campus is supportive. Chet Cooper read a statement of concern regarding Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC's) and the possible affect on higher education and YSU. The Academic Standards Committee approved a proposed policy change to the Dean's List eligibility which was passed unanimously. The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee reported and encouraged everyone to look ahead one year when curriculum is approved. In New Business, the deadline for faculty to vote on the changes to the Academic Senate's charter has been extended.
