dc.description.abstract	The students, faculty, and staff of YSU have traveled a total of 1,343,873 miles by airplane from February 2011 to June of 2012. YSU's Model UN breaks school records. Bookstore merchandise sales spike in September. Students partner with United Way to help victims from Hurricane Sandy. Article on YSU alumna, George Miklas, a musician who performed with The Harmonicats, a professional harmonica group. YSU softball and soccer teams will receive new playing fields.
