dc.description.abstract	Dr. Chet Cooper, Chair of the Senate, presided. Discussion opens up about potential budget cuts with President Randy Dunn answering questions. The Senate Executive Committee reported Dr. Mike Crist as VP of Senate, Dr. Dan O'Neill as parliamentarian, and Vern Haynes and Jef Tyus for the Professional Conduct Committee. Academic Events Committee provided a list of nominations for mace bearers and recommended David Hume Kennerly as commencement speaker. The Library Committee reported on weeding out hardcopy or outdated material, the strategic plan, and finances.	en_US
