Issue 1: New officers are elected. Drs. Paul Williams, Enrico Dilorio, Leon Malock, and T.K. Golden applied for membership. Dr. George H. Hendon will speak at the Annual Banquet. The Nurses' Official Registry of District 3 is explained. Drs. Herman Zeve, M.J. Kocialek, and Julia March Baird are sick. Dr. Boyd W. Schaffner is moving to Uniontown.
Issue 2: The Legislative committee presents a new bill sponsored by the Ohio Hospital Association. Dr. Paul S. Williams applied for membership. B.W. Stewart gives the annual report for the Youngstown Hospital Association. A memorial is printed for Dr. Harold J. Beard. Dr. George Draper will speak on internal medicine. Drs. Ralph Morrall and W.D. McElroy presented at the YHA staff meeting. Drs. J.B. Birch, M.W. Neidus, and J.F. Nagle presented at the St. E's staff meeting.
Issue 3: The Legislative Committee drafts a health care proposal for the County Home Rule Commission. Dr. R.H. Jaffe will speak on malignancies of the lung. Dr. G.B. Kramer talked about Bright's Disease. Drs. J.F. Lindsay, R.W. Fenton, E.C. Rinehart, Bennett, Lawrence Segal, C.H. Warnock, Sam Klatman, and P.H. Fusco get new positions at YHA. Drs. R.M. Morrison, S.M. Hartzell, and Karl Allison were sick. Dr. J.R. Buchanan opened an office.
Issue 4: Post Graduate day features speakers from the Mayo Clinic. A remembrance is printed for Dr. Harold Beard. Dr. J.C. Vance writes about Dr. Joseph Henry Schnurrenberger. The Public Health Committee proposes advertising for diphtheria immunizations. Dr. Ray Hall moved to Cleveland. Dr. Paul S. Williams is hired at YHA.
Issue 5: Dr. William H. Gordon will speak on malignant neutropenia. Drs. J.A. Sherbondy and D.B. Phillips were ill. Dr. C.A. McReynolds joins the YHA staff. Drs. W.L. Jones, P.J. McOwen and J.S. Mariner are on staff at St. E's. |
