dc.description.abstract Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, attended the Canfield Fair on Labor Day whereas Vice-President Joe Biden, campaigning for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, went to the fair on Thursday. ALANA students have a new mentoring-work experience program available to them called the Navarro Executive Fellows. Ray Beiersdorfer, YSU professor of geological and environmental sciences, is planning his next trip to China for YSU students in the spring 2017. Hot Heads Burritos opened an ice cream stand in their facility called, "Campus Cones." Cultivate Cafe, which is close to campus, offers locally sourced ingredients for menu items like veggie wraps, soups and salads. Businesses along Lincoln Avenue discusses how campus construction has impacted their business. The Jambar takes a look at the various coffee shops downtown. Entertainment features "Nevermore!" a musical performed at the Rust Belt Theater Company, Lit Youngstown featuring readers Jamie Marich and Johanna Slivinske, and the Youngstown indie-jam band, The Zou, performing at the third Fashion Meets Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio. The McDonough Museum of Art celebrates 25 years. Imleagues bring changes to YSU's intramural athletic department. Beeghly Center's basketball court received a makeover during the summer.
