dc.description.abstract | The first item for discussion was the matter of curriculum and the need to keep the number of courses under control. Dr. Coffield asked that the group begin gathering information on how curriculum and credits affect programs, etc. It was suggested that someone be appointed as a full-time scheduling officer for the University. Dean Dykema gave his report on orientation (report attached after the minutes). Deans' offices were permitted to schedule their own summer office hours. It was established that the dean of a student's major has the prerogative to make decisions on W grades. | en_US |
