Dr. Gillis commented on the following: College Work Study Funds, Equipment Replacement Fund, Summer Enrollments, Trustees Resolutions, Computer Courses, Inroads, TV Courses, Articulation Policy, Inter-university Council, Capital Funds, and Sick Leave. Dean Hotchkiss gave a brief status report on deliberations of the ad hoc committee on chairpersons supplements. Announcements of coming events included activities sponsored by the ROTC, several programs in the Artist Lecture Series, and the October program of the Williamson Symposium. Loch reported on the CETA program. A long discussion ensued on the Change of Grades policy. Potential speakers for the Winter '84 commencement were discussed. Employment to the limited service instructional staff of individuals who lack even a baccalaureate degree was to be discouraged. Guidelines established for The Ohio Eminent Scholars Program was discussed and if YSU would stand a chance of getting a proposal approved. |
