dc.description.abstract | The Senate Executive Committee reported the new faculty senate website was to be live soon. The Ohio Faculty Council was set to meet on the next Friday and cover the topics of Senate Bill 40 and Paper Mills. The Charter and Bylaws Committee reported on reviewing and revising the charter and bylaws. Mary Beth Earnheardt started a podcast for the academic senate. The Academic Standards Committee reported on two policy proposals: one on non-regionally accredited transfers and the other on academic forgiveness. The Library Committee reported on a two-year subscription for Films on Demand, the budget and allocations. Two courses were approved by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. In New Business, Provost Smith reported on the Strategic Plan; Chet Cooper reported on the Textbook Policy Proposal; and Gary Walker reported on "The 48 Hour Rule." | en_US |
