dc.description.abstract The dedication ceremony for the new NEOUCOM basic medical sciences facility in Rootstown was scheduled for April 14. The Nursing department received a grant of 469,055 from the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Scheduled speakers for the YSU Special Lecture Series included William F. Buckley, Jr., Dr. Kate Millett, Abba Eban, and Jack Anderson. A search committee was assembled to find a replacement for retiring security chief Paul Cress. Dr. Joseph Altinger (Mathematics) was appointed director of the Honors Program. en_US
