A hoax message alert on campus claimed a confirmed case of the Coronavirus. 3D designs are put to the test for the "Gliding Around the WATTS" event by the YSU student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The "We See Tomorrow" Campaign increases its goal from $100 million to $125. Four members of the YSU moot court team traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to compete in the American Moot Court Association's national competition. YSU expands its partnership with Changwon National University. YSU kicks off Black History Month with the African Marketplace. Jambar speaks to students and art faculty about Disney's live action remakes of animated files. Bryan Terrell Clark, known widely for his role as George Washington on Broadway's musical "Hamilton," visited campus to give a speech as part of YSU's Skeggs Lecture Series. Dr. Ray lecture series sheds light on radioactive brine from fracking. Injuries and inexperience plague the YSU women's basketball team. YSU men's basketball coach Jerrod Calhoun said in a press conference that he would like to see more student involvement at home games.
