Computer Programming Contest; Offerings from the Continuing Education Department; and Composers Ensemble Concert.

Abstract

Students from 23 area high schools will compete in a computer programming contest at YSU on January 12. YSU's Office of Continuing Education and the Department of Business Education and Technology will co-sponsor an introductory course, "Bookkeeping Fundamentals I," beginning January 29. The Office of Continuing Education will offer a six-week course, "Creative Writing that Sells," beginning Jan. 31. The Office of Continuing Education will conduct a six-week course, "Business Typing Update," during the Winter Quarter, on the university campus. YSU's School of Fine and Performing Arts will present a "Composers Ensemble Concert"at 8 p.m. on Jan. 9, in the Bliss Recital Hall on the YSU campus as part of its Dana Concert Series.
