dc.description.abstract	The Mahoning Valley Industrial System, a division of the Ohio Water Service, has awarded a $7,600 research grant to Dr. Lauren A. Schroeder, professor of biological sciences at YSU. YSU's Office of Continuing Education will offer two courses during the Winter Quarter to help individuals who are preparing for the certification examinations given by the American Production and Inventory Control Society. The Office of Continuing Education will offer a six-week refresher course for adults, "The Mechanics of Writing," beginning Feb. 4.	en_US
