dc.description.abstract A fall date was set for the start of construction on the new sports complex. The CAST building was renamed Cushwa Hall. YSU observes National Clean-up Week. Student organizations were warned to register/re-register or risk losing Student Government funding. The Student Publications Committee reviewed concerns of lack of minority representation in campus publications. The history of the YSU mascot (Pete the Penguin) was related. Local poet Frank Polite conducted a workshop in writing. Professor Al Bright (Art) was to participate in the Congressional Black Caucus. en_US
