dc.description.abstract History was made for YoCo on April 07, 1945 when Youngstown College received its membership in the North Central Association. A special memorial service was held for the late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Friday morning, April 13. Article on three important lines of development for the college include : the remodeling of the old Rayen School to house the engineering and technical courses, information regarding the proposed new library building, and a new course in social sciences regarding citizenship. Mr. William Miller, chairman of the War finance Committee of Mahoning County, urges more efforts in bond drive. Dr. Warren of Mount Union College, will aid Professor Bare in giving vets interesting vocational guidance at YoCo college. The Jambar Limelight is featured on Lotus Koken. Editorial is to the Service men and women. Who's Who on the Dana faculty features Professor Jacob A. Schmitt. Is Youngstown College a University? Is a question many people are starting to ask. en_US
