Registration of children being accepted for preschool program; YSU to host workshop on “neuro-linguistic programming”; Civil engineering professor has article published in international journal

Abstract

Registration of pre-school children between the ages of 3 ½ and 5 years is now being accepted for the YSU School of Education’s Preschool Practicum. All sessions will be held in the School of Education building each Thursday from October 30 through December 4. Free and open to the public, the sessions will be taught by undergraduate students in the two-year childcare technology program. YSU will host a two-day workshop on “Neuro-Linguistic Programming,” sponsored by the Eastern Ohio Counselor’s Association, the YSU Counseling Department, and the YSU Office of Continuing Education. The sessions will take place on October 21 and 22. Dr. Javed Alam, associate professor of Civil Engineering, has had an article published in the May issue of “The International Journal of Fracture.”
