dc.description.abstract Junior Mike Fannon, a lifeguard at the Beeghly swimming pool, rescued a girl from drowning. The Romeros Quartet (“The Royal Family of the Guitar”) appeared at Powers Auditorium. Fantastic Sam’s (a hair care concern) contributions to the local community were highlighted. Retired instructor Nellie Dehnbostel (Music) was the subject of a profile. Don Minnis, director of Auxiliary Services, predicted that automation would improve the parking situation on campus. en_US
