dc.description.abstract YSU will host the annual fall In-Service Day for Mahoning County teachers and school administrators on October 9. Some 500 educators (in grades K-12) will be participating. Highlights will be presentations by Dr. Irene Bandy from the Ohio Department of Education, and Dr. Betty Edwards, a noted educator and author. Dr. David Baltimore, director of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and a Nobel Prize recipient, will be the Skeggs Lecturer for YSU’s Special Lecture Series on October 20. en_US
