Teams of 7th and 8th grade students from 33 area junior high schools will participate in this year's Mathcounts competition at YSU's Kilcawley Center on Feb. 20. Dr. H. Thomas McCracken, YSU professor of English, has taken office as national chairman of the Conference on English Education (CEE), an organization of teacher educators within the National Council of Teachers of English. He will serve for two years.
