dc.description.abstract On October 3, WYSU-FM (88.5) will open a 26-week broadcast series by th Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for the fifth consecutive year. Conductor Lorin Maazel and a number of guest conductors will be featured. The series is produced by National Public Radio. In addition, WYSU will also broadcast on Saturday mornings the series “Sound Money,” the only live, call-in, financial program on public radio. The College of Fine & Performing Arts will present its “Family Entertainment Series,” a variety of five cultural/entertainment shows designed for children, parents, and grandparents. The first presentation will be staged on October 10. en_US
