dc.description.abstract A recount led to the election of write-in candidate Ray Nakley as Student Government president. Dr. Edward O. Moulton, the chancellor of the Board of Regents, was slated to be the main speaker at Spring Commencement. Dr. Henry Kissnger and former President Gerald Ford were announced as tentative speakers in the upcoming Special Lectures Series. A separate dorm for women was deemed unnecessary by University officials. Psi Chi, the psychology honor fraternity, was set to initiate new members. Professor Donald Elser (Speech, Communications & Theatre) announced his retirement after 34 years. en_US
