dc.description.abstract A faculty forum was held on current economic problems in the United States. Engineering students who were angry by the shortage of classes in their discipline appealed to Student Council for help. Progress was reported in the Youngstown Public Library strike. The control of the General Fee was a topic of discussion between candidates for Student Government. Dr. Leslie Domonkos (History) was invited to the White House to meet with President Jimmy Carter. Mary B. Smith (Career Services) retired from YSU after 41 years. Iranian students faced financial difficulties while attending the University, due to the severed relations between Iran and the United States. en_US
