dc.description.abstract |
The intent of this thesis is to compare the LM 3900 integratedcircuit with the well-known conventional operational amplifier such as the μA 741 OP AMP. According to the National Semiconductor Co., the LM 3900 integrated circuit can perform most of the same function as the well-known conventional OP AMP with only single power supply while the split(±) power supplies are needed for the conventional OP AMP.
The comparison to be made is to design and test the LM 3900 integrated circuit to obtain the identical performance in the circuits with which the conventional operational amplifier,as the 741 is used. |
