dc.description.abstract	State Representative Jim Betts, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, spoke to students in Kilcawley Center. Frank Lamas, the new campus housing coordinated, voiced his goals. President Jimmy Carter (Democrat) is profiled in the third in a series of articles about 1980 presidential candidates. Dr. James Ronda (History) and his wife, Jeanne, researched a book about explorers Lewis & Clark and their relations with the Indians. Dr. Assad Kassees established a social work program in the Israeli-occupied West Bank region. Student Government arranged for a debate between incumbent Congressman Lyle Williams, and congressional candidate Harry Meshel, Ohio State Senator.	en_US
