dc.description.abstract	US Secretary of Labor Ray Marshall was on campus campaigning for the re-election of President Jimmy Carter. So was Roger Watt, a member of President Carter’s press corps. YSU instructor Ron Seitler (Fine & Performing Arts) looked forward to the day when his son would be released from a Cuban prison. Feminist activist Gloria Steinem was the next speaker in the Special Lecture Series. Dr. Jean Kelty (English) was injured by a moped while crossing a street in London. Congressman Lyle Williams campaigned on campus. A rash of car battery thefts occurred.	en_US
