YSU and the city of Youngstown are planning together for the business school expansion and redevelopment of the 38 acre area south of campus. Engineering students advance to national bridge building competition. YSU students won awards for their essays at the Bioethics Network of Ohio annual dinner. Recent studies have shown women majoring in engineering are still facing many setbacks in their field, including a lack of mentors and gender bias. For the first time in Penguin history, the women's softball team won a spot in the regional NCAA championship. en_US
