dc.description.abstract To test the hypothesis that positive romantic involvement reduces male delinquency, a questionnaire was administered to selected undergraduate classes at Youngstown State University during the Spring 1988 quarter. Respondents were asked about a significant romantic relationship they may have had during their senior year of high school, and how this relationship affected their behavior. Results from the study support the hypothesis: boys involved romantically were less delinquent than boys who were not involved. en_US
