dc.description.abstract University officials are rethinking hiring practices as the background of another faculty member of the YSU College of Health and Human Services has been called into question. Kevin Chakos was charged of felony drug charges and was later hired by YSU to teach a pharmacotheraputics class. Youngstown State University announced it has reached an agreement to pay $500,000 to First National Bank of Pennsylvania for leasehold interest, personal property and other assets FNB has in the Wick Pollock Inn, freeing the university to pursue other development options for the inn. The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees approved changes to their land acquisition policy, granting President David Sweet the power to authorize preliminary approval in university real estate purchases. Youngstown Early College dean expresses satisfaction with start. Poets who were published in the Penguin Review publication preformed at the SMARTS center. en_US
