dc.description.abstract Charges are dropped for a YSU alumnus, Second Lieutenant Erick Anderson, who was allegedly involved in the death of an Iraqi teenager while on duty. Tony Atwater steps down as Provost to accept the position of president at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The new $12.1 million student recreation center currently under construction on campus, hailed by Youngstown State officials as totally funded by private donations, has 'borrowed' $4.2 million from the university to finish construction.
