dc.description.abstract Four SGA members traveled to Columbus over spring break to encourage representatives to stop state cuts in funding for Ohio colleges and universities. Tensions ran high Tuesday afternoon during the presentation of a Youngstown State University commissioned study on the wage competitiveness of the YSU- Associated Classified Employees union. Veteran soldiers, students and others joined together Saturday in downtown Youngstown to call for an end to the war in Iraq and the return home of U.S> soldiers. The Youngstown State Board of Trustees formally approved a memorandum of understanding that would create a coalition of universities in Columbiana County and formally endorsed the framework for the Centennial Campus Master Plan. en_US
