dc.description.abstract YSU is under a federal Title VI investigation with the U.S. Department of Education for alleged antisemitism on campus. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine hosted a roundtable discussion on literacy at the McCay Auditorium of Beeghly Hall on April 15 with YSU President Bill Johnson and Stephen Dackin, the director of Ohio's Department of Education and Workforce. YSU hosted and placed fourth in a case study competition at the annual Midwest Sciences Institute conference at the Williamson College of Business Administration on April 12 and 13. Criticism and development with authors at YSU is featured. Jocko the Clown, the stage name of Youngstown resident Joe Sullivan, is featured. Students at YSU hand crafted puppy toys for New Lease on Life Rescue at an event hosted by the Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center on April 9. BFA students showcase their work at the McDonough Museum of Art. Spring Thing, a music festival originally held at Idora Park until the 1984 fire, returns to Youngstown. The YSU fashion show production and promotions class will host its annual EveryBODY Fashion Show on April 24 at Beeghly Center. The YSU football team finished spring camp and held its annual Red vs. White Spring Game, April 12. YSU's women's soccer team spring season is featured. With a third place finish at the NCAA National Collegiate Bowling Championship on April 12 and 13, the YSU bowling team finished its best season in program history. en_US
