dc.description.abstract The YSU bowling team won the 2025 National Collegiate Bowling Championship on April 12. Renovations to Kilcawley Student Center will take place on May 5 and will take about two and a half years to complete. YSU's Fraternity and Sorority Life program recently contracted RISE Partnerships for an external review. YSU's Student Government received funding to repaint on-campus fire hydrants decorated as Pete the Penguin. YSU's Dana School of Music began its Think Like a Synth program, a 27 lesson course in programming an using analog synthesizers. Results of the second annual Penny Awards were given. The 47th annual English Festival took place on campus with 2,600 students attending from regional schools. The 72nd Greek Sing was held April 12. YSU Theatre closes its 2024-2025 season out with "[title of show]". Bon Iver's's "SABLE, fABLE" album is reviewed. The YSU women's lacrosse team falls 5-8. YSU baseball beats Northern Kentucky University 18-8. YSU women's golf had its hands full at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational hosted by The Ohio State University. YSU men's golf is stuck in the rough with the fifth-lowest 54-hole performance in program history. The spring football season concluded after the YSU Red-White Spring Game. en_US
