dc.description.abstract	President David C. Sweet describes the excitement and community pride stirred by the Penguin Parade. The Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Campaign ends successfully with a capstone gift from the YSU Alumni Society. University news, events and programs are given. Three new YSU Board of Trustee members are appointed: William J. Bresnahan, Don Cagigas, and Scott Schulick. The Center for Working-Class Studies is featured. The Rayen College of Engineering and Technology has graduated outstanding engineers since the 1940s. Baseball makes Penguin history by winning its first Horizon League Tournament Championship. A generous gift immortalizes legendary coach, Dom Rosselli. The Summer Festival of the Arts, the Penguin Parade and The Commodores made for a great memorial weekend at YSU. Alumni Updates are given. George W. Bush visits campus.Clarence R. Smith Jr. received the Distinguished Citizen Award. The careers of alumni Suzanne Thompson, Trevor Graff, and JoAnn Jenny are given.	en_US
