YSU's new three-dimensional campus map is now available to use on the YSU website. Enrollment at YSU continues to grow and is now at its highest level in 13 years. Two 80-foot banners marking YSU's Centennial decorated the west side of Stambaugh Stadium as the university kicked off its year-long 100th birthday celebration at homecoming on Oct. 20. YSU is building a dynasty of champions at the annual national MathFest competition. Four YSU students came together over summer to discover a new chemical process with potential medical benefits. YSU helps schoolchildren with a $1.7 million after-school grant. Chinese and Arabic language classes are now offered at YSU. Clint Kifolois the new executive chef for the university's dining services. Penguin basketball starts off with a trip to Los Angeles to play against UCLA. Head football coach, Jon Heacock sings through 2012. The Betty C. Nohra Student Resource Center was dedicated over the summer in Cushwa Hall. The chemistry department receives an anonymous $48,000 gift. |
