Phil Brady, English professor, wins the 2008 Ohioana Helen & Laura Krout Memorial Poetry Award for his poetry. Alumni news and events are given. The Kresge Foundation, an independent, private foundation that provides grants to nonprofit institutions worldwide, has awarded a $1.2 million challenge grant to YSU's campaign to build a new facility for the Williamson College of Business Administration. Alumni Spotlight features Melanie Jones, Dr. James Chengelis, and Sean Jones. Richard Pirko, show producer and technician for YSU's Ward Beecher Planetarium is remembered.	en_US
