dc.description.abstract	Center for American Art study to materialize. Couple Cathy Heckman and Bob Guyan marry shorty before the first YSU home football game Sept. 1 at the YSU Alumni Association's tailgate tent. A new affirmative action plan was presented to the YSU Board of Trustees. After 25 years of service to YSU and the surrounding community, Margaret Horvath, human ecology, will retire in December. YSU offers special programs to multicultural students such as th Academic Enhancement Unity of the Office of Multicultural Student Services. Article on the executive chef at the Wick-Pollock Inn, Wendell Bryant. Making the Grade features graduate student, Philemon Rheins, who receives the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation Award. Sophomore, Kimberly Jordan, wins math award for her presentation, "Mathematics Anxiety." David Lee Morgan, former Jambar reporter, starts a new life as a full-time general assignment reporter at The Vindicator.
