dc.description.abstract Near-freezing temperatures greeted runners in the annual International Peace Race. Student Council declined to include a referendum vote on the next elections ballot regarding daycare, parking, and the General Fee allocation. The annual Law Careers Day was set for November 13. Medical activist Eugene Hirsch, M.D., was to speak on the effects of nuclear war. Penguin kicker Paul McFadden attempted--but failed--to make a 45-yard field goal in a match with Western Illinois University (which YSU won, anyway). en_US
