dc.description.abstract Equipment shortages, breakdowns, and extended downtimes frustrated many YSU computer science students. Student Council came under the leadership of three women. YSU student Gina Gangale won the title of Miss Ohio 1982. The Administration looked to update its plan for the University’s physical plant. The sexual misconduct trial of Dr. Robert Secrist (English) was postponed indefinitely due to a possible violation of his Miranda rights. The Board of Trustees voted to allocate $185,000 to provide additional handicapped access. The Ballet Western Reserve was slated to perform on campus in conjunction with YSU’s Diamond Jubilee. en_US
