dc.description.abstract The Ohio Board of Regents sought to place more of the cost of a college education on student. The Regents also encouraged financial linkage with outside sources of funding (industry, government, business, etc.). Cuts originating with the Reagan Administration also threatened to have adverse effects on YSU Students. Criticism was expressed over the distribution of the General Fee. The Academic Senate voted to curtail “career” hours and to open honors status to transfer students. A female student was assaulted at the entrance to the Brief Eater in Kilcawley Center, strangely in a well-lit area. Dr. Richard Shale (English) offered his predictions for the Academy Awards. en_US
