dc.description.abstract | The Women’s Safety Committee sponsored “Take Back the Night” in opposition to rape. Obtaining needed classes was predicted to continue being difficult. President Reagan’s reduced budget for the National Endowment of the Arts would have no effect on cultural programs at YSU. Using the SMSA model, two YSU economics professors predicted that unemployment in Youngstown would decline by the fourth quarter of 1981. It was feared by many that long-term unemployment would lead to an increase in crime. $500 was raised during Fite Nite. | en_US |
