dc.description.abstract The brother of Malcolm X spoke to students in a lecture sponsored by the YSU chapter of the NAACP and Student Government. The Academic Senate rejects a proposed allocation for Maag Library. NBC News correspondent Irving R. Levine spoke on current economics under Ronald Reagan. Dr. Lawrence Hugenberg (Speech, Communications and Theatre) was interviewed. YSU engineering students built and launched a concrete canoe. The work of senior parking lot attendants was highlighted. The YSU cast of the play “The Owl and the Pussycat” announced that they would travel to Ireland to take part in an international arts festival. The broadcasting dreams of a YSU student from Struthers became a reality. en_US
