dc.description.abstract | Twenty-seven faculty and staff members took part in first aid and CPR training. The fate of the YSU Telecommunications Center remained uncertain. The Lincoln Deck was to reopen in the fall, with more parking spaces. Dr. Jane Simmons (Marketing) examined the role of women in advertisements. Dr. John White led an archaeological dig at Quaker Village, a settlement in Pennsylvania dating back to the 1700s. A faculty panel (with opposing viewpoints) on the future of the Middle East was held. Dr. Gratia Murphy (English) agreed to serve as a teacher/consultant with the Youngstown City Schools during her faculty improvement leave. | en_US |
