dc.description.abstract The Special Lecture Series booked Alexander Ginzburg, James J. Kirkpatrick, John Houseman, and Gerard K. O’Neill to appear on campus during the 1981-82 academic year. The Board of Trustees voted to discontinue the operations of the YSU Television Center by June 30, 1982. The Trustees also instituted a temporary hiring freeze on staff vacancies. Hugh Frost, special assistant to President Coffelt, made a bid for mayor of Youngstown. Dr. Sally Hotchkiss (Psychology) was appointed acting dean of the Graduate School. Freshmen enrollment dropped in Engineering. en_US
