dc.description.abstract YSU President John Coffelt restructured the General Fee sub-committee. Student Government president Cynthia Beckes set out to reverse a policy set by President Coffelt concerning the lending of camping equipment. Campus Police broke up a fight outside of Kilcawley Center, investigated the vandalism of four parking lot arms, and looked into several thefts. Louisa Marchionda (adjunct, Home Economics) discussed the Federal government’s ban on starch blocker diet pills. Dr. Magdalene Stafford, the new chair of Nursing, was interviewed. Organic feminine products were discussed. The Kilcawley Pub was to enforce new drinking laws, especially the increase of the drinking age for beer from 18 to 19. The Arms Museum was highlighted. The Spotlight Theatre was renamed the University Theatre. en_US
