dc.description.abstract A budgetary shortfall in Columbus meant a tuition increase for 1982-83. An advanced technical school was planned for YSU, based upon a recent state appropriations bill. Ohio Democratic candidate for governor Jerry Springer expressed his vision for the state during an interview with The Jambar. Political cartoonist Mike Peters was interviewed by telephone. YSU’s nursing program received national accreditation. Campus Police investigated cases of theft. WSRD radio’s Thomas John was to host a tribute to rock-n-roll. en_US
