dc.description.abstract | Two students were arrested by YSU Police for depositing stolen checks from the Financial Aids office into an account created in their names. Youngstown Police arrested a student on assault charges. An exhibitionist was also sought by local law enforcement. A survey was taken to determine the role (and future) of the Adjunct Faculty Association. Dr. George Kulchycky (History) predicted continued resistance to martial law in Poland. A women’s rights activist asked the University to reconsider its position on campus daycare. Reduced bus rates from WRTA appeared doubtful. The use of Kilcawley Center was on the rise since the facility’s expansion. David S. Provence (School of Business) retired, while Dr. Mary Jane Beaubien (Home Economics) was honored as the Outstanding Home Economist for 1981. Dr. John N.
