dc.description.abstract | Classical actor Earle Hyman came to YSU as a Wean Lecturer and a visiting artist. As an economy measure, students now had to present an ID card to obtain registration materials. The faculty union and the Administration prepared for contract negotiations. YSU employee Lois Davis (Registrar’s Office) recounted her previous career in vaudeville. The Black History Month theme promoted planning for the future. Libertarians staged a petition drive. Cheerleading was examined. A member of the English faculty was arrested and charged with corrupting a 14 year old male. Ohio candidates for governor were assessed. The YSU Planetarium staged a show about the Space Shuttle. | en_US |
