dc.description.abstract Student Council supported student representation to the Board of Trustees, despite the opposing view of the Inter-University Council. A Student Government-sponsored seminar was to examine the YSU budget. The Guardian Angels, a crime-fighting organization, sought recruits. The difference between liberals and conservatives was explained by Dr. Thomas Shipka (Philosophy & Religious Studies). The Newman Center planned Holy Week services. The Major Events committee came under criticism. Maag Library held a used book sale. The Spotlight Experimental Theatre’s production of “The Brick and the Rose” was featured. en_US
