dc.description.abstract The Board of Trustees approved a tuition increase. A rally opposing tuition hikes was planned by the Ohio Association of Students in Columbus. The debate over campus daycare continued. Dr. Sally Hotchkiss was appointed Associate Provost and dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Victor Richley was named dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology. An investigation was made into faulty materials used to construct the new tennis courts. Former British Prime Minister Sir Harold Wilson (Labour) was to speak in Kilcawley Center. Jeff Hall, a member of Council who attempted to push through a vote of no confidence, resigned without comment. The play “Butterflies Are Free” was reviewed. en_US
